Catch the beats of rain with our Fragrance of The Month!

Catch the beats of rain with our Fragrance of The Month!

Everything is more beautiful in the rain!

Summer sure seems to have flown by & we were only starting to lose ourselves in the warm bask of the sun! And now, here we are- at the edge of Monsoon!
Monsoon does not get as much press as other seasons like summer, winter, and spring, but for the desi heart, it is a sentiment. Also, who can forget the long list of songs featuring a lovelorn couple dancing or reuniting under the rain! So, we are swapping out our summer whites for muted greys, shiny umbrellas, and some monsoon-appropriate fragrances this month!

Meet our June Fragrance of The Month 3 Wick and Shot Glass Scented Candles -

Masala Chai, First Rain, and Gulmohar

1. Masala Chai - It will warm your heart with the very first inhale. It is how you would imagine experiencing the aroma of freshly prepared, hot masala chai. Think of all the different spices being added carefully into your favourite teacup. Preferably a kulhad. The hot steam rising from the mixture of chai and all those spices is a kind of warmth that can help ease the worst of heartbreaks, create the perfect backdrop for long convos, or just serve you company in the silence of the world around you. With its Green Tea, black pepper, and Black Tea notes, the scent will make its way to your heart before you realizing!

Fragrance Notes:

  • Top Notes: Green, Fresh, woody.
  • Middle Notes: Floral, Green, Earthy, Weedy.
  • Base Notes: Woody, Musk, Cedar

2.First Rain -It will have you gasping in joy with its green, earthy, weedy notes. Take in a breath of this sharp, raw fragrance to feel as if you are Suju dancing with abandon in ‘Barso Re.’ Nature has started to stir again, sprouting life- different from but just as beautiful as when spring came. The world calls for a different kind of enchantment this time. Coziness comes from sipping garam chai and curling up with a book and pakodas. Remembering catching sight of the first raindrops back at your mom’s place. The way nature looks each time she has bathed. God, you are thankful to be born to witness the magic of the baarish.

Fragrance Notes:

  • Top Notes: Green, Fresh, woody.
  • Middle Notes: Floral, Green, Earthy, Weedy.
  • Base Notes: Woody, Musk, Cedar

3.Gulmohar- It has citrusy, fresh, fruity, and patchouli notes to bring alive what the fiery red leaves and flowers should smell like. Just close your eyes and relax as you take in this unique floral fragrance. The aroma makes you feel beautiful, delicate, and cheerful. Did you know Gulmohars might just be the oldest known tree people used for mainly aesthetic purposes? If you have seen the streets lined with these bright-leaved beauties, it should not be hard to understand why. It feels like a kind of Red Carpet that Nature rolls out to welcome the stormy clouds and the queenly rains!...

Fragrance Notes:

  • Top Notes: Green, Citrus, Fresh
  • Middle Notes: Floral, Fruity, Aromatic
  • Base Notes: Cedar, Musky, Patchouli
